On September 6, the entire community gathered in the gym for Convocation to kick off the school year. Students heard from Lower School speaker Layla M. ’33, Middle School speaker Blythe F-H. ’29, and Upper School Council President Lucy F-F. ’25, as well as Senior Class Co-presidents Sophia O. ’25 and Stella A. ’25. Students also heard from Mr. Burke and Alumnae Board President Terri Davis-Merchant ’95.

“Our mission here at Nightingale is to break barriers,” Lucy said in her remarks. “To push ourselves to go further, to think deeper, and to lead the way not just in our school but the world beyond. Each one of you plays a crucial role in this mission.”
