On the evening of (a very not spooky) Friday the 13th, the entirety of Class V had a sleep-in at the Schoolhouse. The party kicked off with a service project for Pillow for Paws—students helped make blankets for animals in shelters. After a delicious pizza and ice cream party, the fifth graders had the run of the school during a wild and crazy team building scavenger hunt that took them to every floor in the building. The best part of the evening (besides getting to sleep in the auditorium and watch a movie!) was the flashlight party students had on the roof at night.
