Upper School students recently welcomed journalist and strategic-communications specialist Michael Jordan to discuss how to distinguish between more-credible and less-credible media. Mr. Jordan shared critical thinking skills and strategies to use when reviewing content such as expressing skepticism, checking the source, determining credibility; all skills students can use to help navigate the media landscape while following current events. Upper Schoolers also learned how they can create credible, evidence-driven online content—for if and when they want to express their views on their social-media channels.
