Class XI recently met in the student center for a unique precalculus activity. Moving from station to station, students worked in groups of three to solve—or not solve—the questions at hand, helping them exercise an abstract mindset and approach. The mathematicians also recognized their own assumptions about a problem, as well as exercised the ability to thoroughly defend their results. Following the activity, students were tasked to write a reflection on three of the four stations.
