Middle School Debate: A Strong Start to the Season
NOVEMBER 20, 2024
Nightingale hosted the first debate tournament of the season and kicked off the year with a strong start. One novice and six varsity teams competed fiercely on thought-provoking motions such as "Credit cards do more harm than good," "Humanity’s education is more important than STEM education," and "Police Unions do more harm than good." Nightingale’s impressive performance resulted in a well-deserved third place overall finish.
Special congratulations to Nightingale students who placed in the top ten at the tournament: Sienna S. ’29 (4th) Harper C. ’29 (5th) Remi S. ’29 (8th) Alyssa A. ’29 and Jessie H. ’29 (tied for 9th)
