Creating Roly Poly Habitats

In their science class, Class III students have been learning about ways to protect animal habitats. During this particular class time, Lower School scientists worked with their teams to brainstorm and design two solutions to solve the problem of providing a classroom habitat where roly polys can survive. Each habitat needed to provide the roly polys with food, water, and shelter. Finally, students planned a fair test—when only one variable changes while others remain constant—to determine which habitat roly polys would survive best.
