This week, the auditorium transformed into a literary wonderland for this year’s book fair! Over the course of two days, each Nightingale class had the opportunity to shop around and explore the plethora of options.

On Tuesday night, students and families heard from The Adventures of Team Pom author Isabel Roxas at Authors Night. Ms. Roxas is an author and illustrator, and enjoys creating stories about curious misfits, young characters who defy the odds, and funny animals. She was born in Manila, Philippines, now resides in New York City, and is completing the third installment of her award-winning graphic novel series. At Authors Night, Ms. Roxas shared the inspiration behind her award-winning fantasy comic series and led a workshop for attendees. Ms. Roxas then signed copies of her graphic novels.
